My Buddy Putty .....

I am watching the final day of the Master's Golf tournament with my Buddy Putty . His owners and I have been friends since high school. They return to Tybee every spring for the summer and this our first of many moments together.
The Masters was my Dad's favorite thing so I watch it every year in memory of him. He died very young in 1977 but his brightly colored Lily Pulitzer golf clothes live on in my love of color and my brightly colored cottages. ...
Putty is getting older but he still looks wonderful. He is a sweet ...one of a kind...fabulous creature! He never meets a stranger and has so many friends on tybee island that look forward to his return every spring.
This is our view and our special day.

I stopped by Cohens Retreat on Skidway Road to see what amazing things that would be for sale beginning on Friday April 12 th 5pm.

It is looking SOOOO...beautiful.  Great art , furniture, textiles,  lighting and accessories.

Color Color And More Color

I have a fever...Spring fever  !!!! Our city is in full bloom and the colors are so beautiful. It makes me fall in love with  color  and my hometown , Savannah, all over again. It happens every single year when the azaleas are in full bloom. 
I also have 3 clean vehicles and a new bike and  am going to see Emmy Lou Harris tonight at the musical festival .
 Life is good and colorful!!!!

Polka dots and geraniums and Spring time...

My  friend made an Easter present flower pot for me. She made it from a can and added the polka dots. She is very creative and I love all the things she makes.How great is this!  Thanks Lisa.
 Spring is finally here even  though it is still chilly. I have been working on the outdoor space at 99 Steps to the Beach.

I put up a fence but added windows, color and a bit of whimsy to give it some personality.

I have to move the clothes line and make giant shutter doors. The hardi board comes  primed this color and the window were that color. Any thought?  (99 steps is painted "Beachy Keen  Green"my newest color.
