Happy Friday Randomness....with a little Turquoise thrown in !!!!

It is cold but the sun is shining at Tybee .I am headed to South Carolina to pick up tile for the first of the shower renovations at Southern Tides Cottage.(A Tybee Cottages vacation rental)

I am avoiding getting my tax things together so I am traveling down memory lane with colorful warm and sunny thoughts.

Here are a few colorful memories to hold off the winter blah's...THINK..WARM..SUNNY..AND HAPPY THOUGHTS...

Sheds, Showers And Other Simple Pleasures....

I have been frozen by the cold and I know I am a wimp compared to all you you who lived in the colder areas. All my plants are dead and the grass is brown and I am seriously depressed. I know how lucky I am to live where I do and I know that before I know it... the bugs and heat with be upon me.
I decide to look at my photos and TRY to find some order in the chaos..(apple class did not make a dent in what I need to learn)
I am sharing happy warmer thougths and pictures that I ran across on my computer today.
Often times the simple things are the best thing....

I just had to share.....

Our  Christmas  family oyster roast .... the friends and family, the miracle Peckenpau (who is still here) and the beautiful decorations and wonderful food and oysters.
My son and his wife hosted that day at their cottage on  Rose Ave on the Isle of Hope.( Lucky me I got out of cooking except for the collard greens)

New Year ..New Cottage..Introducing BLUES AWAY

I had the pleasure of working with some new and very interesting clients to create a cottage that will…actually take your blues away. The colors are happy but soothing. They have shared wonderful books and music and art from their own collections. Every time I walk into the cottage , I feel relaxed, invigorated and happy. I think it is the unique mix of all the elements in the spaces.

a pleasure  to behold ...new life to a tired 1950's cottage. I love my job!

it was one of the stars of the Jane Coslick Cottage  Holiday Tour held the first of December

the porch has a new tile floor and great new outdoor fabrics

the natural light in the living room is so fresh and inviting  I love the colors ...the mix of patterns on the throw pillows with the indoor /outdoor stripe rug and PS(I love their Christmas tree!!!!)

this little sign speaks  volumes ..to me. In my work, art is everything!!!

I love the beautiful cedar tree..and there is nothing like sitting in the shade of a giant old tree watching the world go by…My personal opinion..SHADE is very under-rated...
