On February 11
th, I wrote about saving a cottage and its beautiful old windows. Here is a peek of the interior (looking toward the kitchen) as things are progressing. Lots of white paint to enlarge the space, but I left a bit of the old wood for everyone to see.
Hi Jane
ReplyDeleteI really love your blog, I just discovered it recently and have enjoyed reading your archives. This cottage looks amazing so far. I am always surprised by the ability of white paint to transform a room. I love the touch of original wood too. You are so talented.
Have a great day,
Janice
I especially love the old wood. The texture it's roughness brings to the crisp white room. I found some beadboard that was similar in color, but more grey and I am hoping that there is enough to do the ceiling in my bathroom. The older and "chippier" the better.
ReplyDeleteJanie Jumper it's looking fab. I can't wait to see the finished cottage. I returned your e-mail early this morning. Hope you are doing well. Oh--I just blogged about Tybee Tides this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
Crystal
I'm really curious the cottage finished. Your projects are always so exciting!! Happy weekend xoxo
ReplyDeleteI enlarged the image (so I could see, I am still so blind!) and fell totally absolutely in love with the counter!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it in person!
