This Key Lime Parrot cottage. After renovating it, we had no budget for the "fun stuff". When there is little or no budget one is forced to be more creative. This is one of my favorite rooms in the cotttage. The light streams in the windows and the blue and white floor just shines away. I will try to find a few "before's of this great little cottage in my archives and post them later
Mermaid Cottages.com. rents the cottage for my clients and it happens to be one of the favorites.
I love every single cottage you do. I love your use of color and all the whimsical touches. They just make me happy:)

ReplyDeleteOk...This looks heavenly! Booked for Thanksgiving??
ReplyDeleteIs the floor painted or is that a rug?? Starting tomorrow on painting the trim in my lakehouse kitchen......your lime green color!! Already have the turquoise color all around....can't wait to see how it turns out!
ReplyDeletethanks for all your brilliant inspiration!
Is the floor painted then? What a wonderful result - fresh and simple, and nothing to trip over!
ReplyDeleteA group of girlfriends had a long weekend on Tybee and we stayed at Key Lime Parrot Cottage. We had a great time! We took more pictures inside the cottage than we did on the whole trip. Inspiring place!
ReplyDeleteJuicy perfection! Love the colors and accessories!
ReplyDeleteHey Everyone. The floor is vinyl tile by Armstrong Flooring. Inexpensive but some maintance. It commands the visual when down if you use the brighter colors. (Like the wonderful yellow and white in Fish Camp Cottage)The more neutral colors are less dominate as in The Shrimp Cottage ( the jellyfish table shot)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazingly happy room!
ReplyDeletePerfection!!! I love every inch of this room!
ReplyDeleteJane where are those cute fish from? Sara T
ReplyDeleteLove your style! Blessings, Brook
ReplyDeleteI love the name you give each cottage and your unique approach to each using a different color theme. You have such a gift. I especially love the title of this one. I love Key lime pie, parrots and of course, cottages.
