Preparing for A Beach Wedding

http://annaspeir.weebly.com/
Anna was hired to do a  wedding on the beach on Tybee Island this past weekend . I got a chance to help her with it................ it was so hectic......... but so much fun!!!!!...
There was lots of  running around and hauling things to and from the beach. It  turned out beautiful and everyone loved all the things that Anna created for the wedding celebration.
Here are a few photos of the preparation .The bride and groom wanted a simple beach wedding so Anna created her magic on the beach.

Moving things to the beach.. the life guard stand is in the background but out of the view of the wedding venue.  How about the color of that beautiful September sky..........
Fresh bamboo from the local Bamboo Farms in Savannah................................

Starfish and soft flowing fabric to frame the ceremony...............................

The fisherman and cooler ( in this photo) were finished by the time the ceremony took place....Anna was hurrying and scurrying around creating a beautiful wedding arbor.......

The view behind the wedding arbor..sky, clouds sands and and the Atlantic Ocean..................

The soft ocean breeze was just the perfect thing................

More of Anna running around creating her magic on the beach.........................................

We added conch shells  for a finishing touch...............

Close up of the arbor and shells...............

Anna's   flower magic at the reception...shells, driftwood, flowers and palms

Every reception and wedding needs a security guard.. even if he "looks" like he is sleeping......

A "found" wedding beach sign I added to the arbor right before we took the arbor down and we slowly faded away into the night.............................

Anna's arrangements for the tables inside the North Beach Grill

There were two of these tall  arrangements on the buffet table

The outside tablescapes and candles that she created

I just love how she added the beautiful and natural fan coral....

Anna's talent is amazing..

A little Tybee Island attitude.....
Simple shells , starfish, sand and candles on the outside tables from Anna....

Our beautiful Tybee Island light house was the prefect back drop to the reception

A beautiful night for a wonderful celcbration!!!!

how stunning. You can see how much energy Anna put into that occasion. That fan coral is absolutely amazing. Love a beach wedding. We were married on the beach at 7.30am at Byron Bay, a very spiritual ceremony, a magnificent morning, we stood in a circle of stones and our guest just simply gathered around. Afterwards, we headed into the hinterland overlooking Byron for a wedding brunch. We revisit the part of the beach where we were married on our anniversary each year. have a great week Jane. Jane x

love the way the white flowing fabric contrasted with the bright green of the poles...starfish,etc. Candles and flowers were amazingly perfect. I hope the good vibes continue for them throughout a long and properous union.
