My Shed ..My Shed... Is there hope for you?

I have a shed and very little money in the budget for this project. The location is great and I could store things in it BUT I would rather create a wonderful "pondering space". I have to remember I have two additions in the works ....one at my office and one at my beach cottage SO I am holding back as best I can................
Did I mention part of the shed is NOT on my lot so that does complicate things a bit more. My son and his wife live next door and the rest of the structure is on their lot.
Years ago wooden boats were built here and so the energy  is amazing . The giant limbs of the  moss covered oak trees hang gracefully over the old structure.
I have two window boxes in the shed and lots of old windows and my twig headboard (that I miss very much) and some old shutters. My wheels are turning turning turning....I own these things so no money out of pocket.
It is screaming for a tin roof but that must wait ..........

Knowing your style, I have no doubt this will be nothing less than amazing after you are done:)Sometimes the smallest budgets are the best, makes you think outside the box!

I see great potential in this cool shed...A outdoor kitchen/dining area and for the enclosed portion...a small dance floor/stage for entertaining...you could also install a screen for showing old movies....ummmm

or.... make the enclosed space into a sleeping porch with hammocks and giant wicker fans...

or a mini art gallery that you could lease out for cash flow...ok...I am stopping now.

the barn is the next "no money budget" project. I have "barn windows" right there in the photo.

On the same principle as the 'everything' drawer in an otherwise carefully edited kitchen, isn't there as special place in your heart for the Unconverted? To venerate the chaos from which form arises!

This is great! I would make it into my studio, with a/c of course. :D So much room and so much potential! Love the open area on the side. Those trees are amazing with the spanish moss draping down.... oh, how I miss that!
Can't wait to see you work your magic here!

What a great space to begin with. There's something freeing about spaces detached from the main house - I'm sure you will make it awesome.
I love your blog- I love Tybee and visit quite often. I'm a landlocked Low Country gal so you help me get my coastal "fix". Thank you, marcie@madebymolliesmom.blogspot.com
